Usage

  • {{CoordinateDMS|-49.25}} gives: −49°15′00.00″.
  • {{CoordinateDMS|7.0017}} gives: +7°00′06.12″.
  • {{CoordinateDMS|-49.25|South|North}} gives: 49°15′00.00″ South.
  • {{CoordinateDMS|7.0017|West|East}} gives: 7°00′06.12″ East.
  • {{CoordinateDMS|-49.25|lang= fr }} gives: −49°15′00,00″.
  • {{CoordinateDMS|7.0017|lang= fr }} gives: +7°00′06,12″.
  • {{CoordinateDMS|-49.25|Sud|Nord|lang= fr }} gives: 49°15′00,00″ Sud.
  • {{CoordinateDMS|7.0017|Sud|Nord|lang= fr }} gives: 7°00′06,12″ Nord.

Note:

The lang parameter is optional, otherwise it takes as default value the language code inferred from the current page (using {{Langcode}}).
For example, Japanese uses kanjis (instead of maths symbols, with space separators) for angle units, and displays the hemisphere before the angle units.
If you don't specify any hemisphere in parameters 2 and 3, a '+' or '−' will be prepended to the value in degrees (angular units for Japanese are still used if you specify the language parameter).
