My name is Kevin, and I live in Seymour Victoria.

My main pastimes are Bushwalking and Geocaching - under my ID "Derringer" My wife, Meredith and I enjoy 4wd'ing across Australia, especially the Vic Alps.

We use a Garmin Dakota 20 for recording traces. I intially used Potlatch,to edit traces. I then tried JOSM but found it hard to understand and edit. I then found Merkaartor, which I found easy to use and understand. Having grasped the basics with Merkaartor, I was then able to move across to JOSM with new found confidence.

We travel extensively in Victoria, and there are plenty of blank bits to fill in. As an adjunct to Geocaching it is enjoyable putting roads on FREE maps
