I live in Győr, Hungary. I want to use OSM for Hiking. My aim is to help to bring OSM to a state where it is useful for hikers in the form of slippy map and Garmin output. I'm a geocacher, but I'm not satisfied with the existing GC websites, so I decided to design my own, mainly only to show my ideas. I want to use OSM for this site.
Hiking maps
The planned new, official slippy map layer for hikers

- Very bad. It goes in wrong direction. The french cannot use their tourist signs, so this guy uses various other features, that doesn't matter.
Lonvia' map

- It's OK, it works from OSMC
- It hides the highway tag and draws the network tag. Hides information, not what I want, but the best so far

- It works from OSMC, the maintainer is the writer of OSMC
- The rules are not good either, tha map looks strange

Elsősorban turistacélokra szeretném felhasználni az OSM-et, célom, hogy világméretű, használható turistatérkép létrejöttét segítsem slippy map és Garmin kimenet formájában. Geocachinggel foglalkozom, de nem vagyok elégedett a létező oldalakkal, ezért saját oldal fejlesztésébe kezdtem, elsősorban elképzeléseimet bemutató célzattal. Ehhez az OSM-et akarom felhasználni.
