Overview
Jeremy W. Goldsmith is a geospatial enthusiast, open-street-map newbie, aspiring digital cartographer, philanthropist, and active transporter. I have a passion to help people solve their problems, and usually do so before solving my own.
After attending the 2012 State of the Map conference in Portland, I want to become more involved with OSM through the Humanitarian Open Street Map Team (HOT) and their ongoing projects.
Philanthropic Mission
I currently raise money and donations for Water for People. All my information about my fundraising activities and training milage can be found on my Crowdrise page. For my 27th year of life, I'm hoping for a huge goal: I'm hoping to inspire 1000 people to donate just $27 to the cause and raise $27,000
As of July 18, 2013- I've raise over $3,000.
I'm not sure if I can do it -- it's a massive goal I've never attempted before. So here's some extra incentive: for every $1,000 donated, I'll pitch in my own $27 and run another half-marathon.
