Road schemes

• A6 Loughborough bypass in consultation phase

• A6 Kibworth bypass, vague idea at present. this is the only non-bypasses placed now on the A6 for a good long stretch

• Second Leicester Park & Ride scheme, at Enderby, has planning permission

• A47 Earl Shilton bypass has the go-ahead, construction is hoped to start in late 2007

• A46 Melton Mowbray bypass or ringroad is in the pre-consultation phase
