I have been living in Bathurst, NSW, Australia since 2005, but have also lived in Armidale, Sydney, Orange, Parkes and Cowra. I first joined OpenStreetMap in September 2008 to fix a typo that I found, but since buying a Garmin eTrex Vista HCx in late December 2008 (and upgrading my operating system from MacOS 10.3.9 to MacOS 10.5) I have started making more extensive edits, starting with the streets around my house, then other parts of Bathurst and the associated villages.

I mainly use Potlatch to edit uploaded GPX traces, but occasionally use JOSM.

In February/March 2010 I visited Patagonia (southern Argentina and Chile) and the Antarctic Peninsula, and will be making some edits based on traces from this trip. P.S. Sólo hablo un poco Español (only a few words - hooray for Google Translate!)

Licensing

All my contributions to OpenStreetMap are released into the public domain. This applies worldwide. In case this is not legally possible, I grant anyone the right to use my contributions for any purpose, without any conditions, unless such conditions are required by law.

I had been concerned with the coming change of license that a large amount of data would need to be removed leaving large gaps in the map. Many thanks to Nearmap for allowing existing edits based on their data to remain in OSM. Other imports will probably need to go (e.g. suburb boundaries), but this isn't as critical.
