I'm a Geoweb enthusiast and researcher at the Austrian Institute of Technology. My research interests include GIS and Web mapping technologies, geospatial knowledge discovery and information retrieval. I've developed somewhat of a passion for antique maps recently, and I'm currently involved in building an online old map annotation tool (see http://dme.ait.ac.at/annotation for a showcase).
