I live in Western Australia and have been mapping bits and pieces, smaller details mostly, as they interest me. Sometimes I write about my mapping on my blog at samwilson.id.au. I have a Garmin/eTrex Vista HCx GPS and do most of my mapping in areas that I have walked or cycled. I also enjoying tracing aerial photography, and sometimes taking walking-papers out on my bike (or foot). I upload most of the photos I take to Flickr, geotagged and with an open license.

OSM is a terrific way to get to know a place better!
