My name is Sterling Quinn and I am a doctoral student in geography at The Pennsylvania State University, as well as an active OSM contributor. My research involves OSM growth patterns and ways that OSM can be fostered to ensure that socially beneficial features receive full coverage on the map. These include things like healthy food and water sources, health clinics, transportation resources, and other social services.

I recently started the Central Pennsylvania OSM group to improve coverage in State College, Pennsylvania and the surrounding towns. I also organized a meetup in Philadelphia in March 2014 to map food security resources in the city.

If you're interested in participating in any of the above events, please send me a note! I'll be advertising them on the regular OSM event wiki page as well.
