I am initiating Wikimaps, a project where historical maps could be brought to a maps environment within the Wikimedia environment. The project is akin to OHM at openstreetmap, and I am hoping to see the projects fuse together.

As a cartographer, I am just a beginner.

Wikidocumentaries

I run the Wikidocumentaries project. In order to display significant geographic data, I will list below tasks that need to be made.

• Connect OHM to Wikidocumentaries to display shapes for historical items.
• Add cultural heritage protected areas in Finland to OSM to be able to display them in Wikimedia projects and in Wikidocumentaries.
