Hallo,

bin aus Bayern und seit 24.11.2006 neu in OpenStreetMap. Bisher bin ich schon seit fast drei Jahren aktiver begeisterter Wikpedianer. Näheres dort zu mir unter [1]. Seit langem vermißte ich dort eine Art Atlas, mit dem man die geografischen Artikel verlinken könnte. Dafür gab es bisher nur unfreie Quellen wie Google Maps. Als ich zufällig über Openstreetmap stolperte wurde mir schnell klar, daß hier weit mehr entstehen könnte als nur eine neue Open Source Kartengrundlage für Wikipedia.

I'm from Bavaria and new in OpenStreetMap since 24.11.2006. Since almost three years I'm an active and enthusiastic Wikpedian. There you find further information about me at [2]. For already some time I had missed a kind of atlas to link the geographical articles of wikipedia with. For this purpose there were up to now only not open sources like Google Maps. As I stepped by chance over OpenStreetMap I recognized quickly that OpenStreetMap could be far more than only an opensource map material for wikipedia.
