Bicycle wiki page

We have pages for the feature and pages for the key. For instance, the feature Highways and the key Key:highway. Mapping a feature is often not limited to a single key. Such general page explains "how to map a feature" with the list of interesting tags. Or Buildings and the tag Key:building. I think it is done similarly for Bicycle and the key Key:cycleway page. I don't think we should change this. The page Key:cycleway is also forwarding the reader to the page Bicycle. It should be enough, no ?--Pieren (talk) 11:19, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

I don't think the tables are focusing on cycleway=*. It is true that most of the examples use it but this is because tagging highway=cycleway in a separate way is much easier to tag and does not require many examples where tagging cycle lanes requires more combinations. If you like, you could move the "Cycle tracks" (T1..T4) section on top of the page to promote the mapping of cycle tracks. Again, I think that the page "Bicycles" should show how to map features related to bicycle as it is done for other features in the wiki. Perhaps you should continue the discussion on the tagging mailing list to get more opinions.--Pieren (talk) 08:53, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
