UK Maxspeed

I've undone all you UK changes - the maxspeed is still 70mph. Doing 100 and you'll be in big trouble if caught. --Pobice 20:13, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Weird edit

https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Wikimapia&diff=next&oldid=1353602 - see https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Talk:Wikimapia Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 21:06, 5 November 2017 (UTC)

The edit I have done was about self-plagiarism. As Wikimapia does not have formal public domain assignment policy, the edit first needs to be uploaded into OSM by a user who donated all data to public domain. Otherwise, written contracts with both OSMF and Wikimapia would be needed specifically for that changeset. Erkin Alp Güney 08:16, 6 November 2017 (UTC)

please use edit description

for example https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Bing_Maps&diff=1496924&oldid=1482391 really should have an edit description Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 21:08, 5 November 2017 (UTC)

Renaming API 0.7 to 1.0

I don’t remember any discussion on the topic. Can you explain a bit why you did this renaming? Mmd (talk) 10:10, 13 November 2022 (UTC)

Over time, change requests accumulated so much that the revision would be a new major version. Erkin Alp Güney (talk) 14:21, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
Right, but none of these features are planned to be implemented in the near or even distant future. The whole document is only brainstorming, and will be this way for a very long time. I'd suggest to rename it back to API 0.7, as that's how everyone in the development community refers to it. Changing the name without discussion with the development community only causes confusion. Can you do the renaming on your own, or should I contact the Wiki admins to do it? Thanks! (speaking as CGImap API maintainer) Mmd (talk) 09:22, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
I am leaving that to an admin to prevent history issues. Erkin Alp Güney (talk) 15:24, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
