Italian translation

Thank you for the Italian translation. I might be able to do more of Italy in the near future. Please contact me. --Nop 00:32, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Funny sign

Isn't the "dead end sign" in File:NoExit OneWay.jpg belonging to the left street? ;-) --Aseerel4c26 (talk) 11:41, 5 November 2014 (UTC)

Uhm, looking at the picture it might actually look like that, but it definitely doesn't (the left street is a roundabout, see [1]). I though the cars parked in reverse direction would make it obvious enough that it's the one-way sign to be wrong, but it's actually not so clear. Do you think this picture [2] would be descriptive enough, or should I rather delete the entry? --Kaitu
Thanks for your comments! No, you do not need to delete it! Adding "(the left street is a roundabout, the deadend sign belongs to the right street)" would be enough. But actually, this picture [3] seems to be more clear to me. Oh, and, do not JPEG compress your images that much. That looks awful. ;) Also you do not need to scale down that much. While 20 mega pixels is a bit too much for such a simple fun photo, I think that 3-5 mega pixels would be fine. The previews are scaled down anyway (server-side). Oh, and, thanks for the photo at all! :-) --Aseerel4c26 (talk) 01:42, 9 November 2014 (UTC)
Many thanks for your suggestions. I changed the comment accordingly and uploaded a new version of the image. I don't know how to change the thumbnail though; I tought it was automatic, but it still shows the old image. --Kaitu (talk) 23:38, 9 November 2014 (UTC)
Fine! :-) The thumbnail will change automatically. Either it is still cached in the old version by the server or, more likely, by your browser (try to hit Ctrl+F5 on a page which shows the thumbnail). I already see the new thumbnail. --Aseerel4c26 (talk) 00:48, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
Yep, refreshing the browser cache did the job. Thank for the hint!--Kaitu (talk) 09:57, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
