incline tag proposal

hi korea, i got your message about the incline tag proposal. in general, the tag was ok, but i thought it somewhat redundant - work is underway to introduce contours to osm, which will provide far more detailed information on road gradients than the proposed incline tag. there is a project underway as part of GSoC to produce routes between points, which take account of contours - it's on the wiki somewhere Myfanwy 19:51, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello

I live in a small town in south-central Korea. I can collect GPX trails, and the town is small enough that conceivably one person could map it. I will ask for help locally however.

Anyway, I just started with this, so I'm saying hello.

Best wishes,

A
