JOSM Vorlage Escalator
Hallo, du hattest vor kurzem die JOSM Vorlage Escalator angelegt. Der Schlüssel "conveying" wurde kurz drauf auch in die JOSM-interne Treppen-Vorlage integriert. Kann ich https://josm.openstreetmap.de/wiki/Presets/Escalator löschen oder möchtest du es trotzdem dort belassen?

- Ja, lösche die Vorlage bitte, sie hat vermutlich ohnehin nie richtig funktioniert. BTW: Gibt es irgendwo eine Anleitung, wie man Presets anlegen sollte? -- drolbr 2016-01-31 18:01 UTC
- Prinzipiell war das so schon fast richtig. Folgende Sachen waren noch zu verbessern:
- Die korrekte Einbindung im Wiki; wurde gefixt von donvip: https://josm.openstreetmap.de/wiki/Presets/Escalator?sfp_email=&sfph_mail=&action=diff&version=2&old_version=1
- Ein Name für die Vorlage wäre noch gut gewesen, denn sie wurde weniger hübsch mittels "Presets_Escalator-preset.zip" in der Liste in JOSM angezeigt.
- Sie hatte noch einen kleinen Fehler. Bei combo muss es values="..." und nicht value="..." heißen.

Overpass-API: Performance regression in 0.7.53

Outdated areas
Have you seen report at https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Overpass_API/status ? Areas seem to be broken on public overpass (see also https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/how-can-i-list-admin-level-4-areas-of-a-specific-country-or-find-why-supposedly-admin-level-4-of-another-country-is-in-it-aka-why-poland-conquered-belarus/3660/2 ) Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 02:08, 6 October 2022 (UTC)

https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Overpass_API#Public_Overpass_API_instances - it was outdated as https://lz4.overpass-api.de/api/interpreter is gone
Which part of "Any of the three servers has a total capacity of about 1,000,000 requests per day. You can safely assume that you don't disturb other users when you do less than 10,000 queries per day and download less than 5 GB data per day. The address overpass-api.de and endpoint https://overpass-api.de/api/interpreter will continue to work and redirects per round robin to z and lz4." is still accurate?
Is it true that overpass-api.de should be always used, without direct calls to more specific domains?
I made edit based on server failing and reliable info that server was decommissioned (on IRC)
