asphaltrecycling - documenting it at Template:Map Features:surface is not a good idea as this tag is neither used widely nor discussed on wiki or tagging mailing list. Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 09:04, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

Mail Liste

--TBKMrt (talk) 13:21, 11 August 2019 (UTC)

Military=obstacle_course

The page for military=obstacle_course still has insufficient information. It's not clear if this tag can only be used for obstacle courses on military bases, or if it can also be used elsewhere (I've found several examples of it being used for civilian obstacle courses here in Southeast Asia). The wiki page text is copied straight from Wikipedia, so this does not make it clear. Also, there is no "how to map" section. The Description box suggests both a linear way or an area are allowed, but in this case it will be ambiguous if a closed way is an area or a line. sport=obstacle_course is listed both under "implies" and "useful combination" - this is contradictory. Please address these issues before adding this feature to Map Features again. It's rude to revert edits without engaging in discussion or addressing issues. --Jeisenbe (talk) 14:00, 21 September 2019 (UTC)

Just read my last sentence on the page, dude --TBKMrt (talk) 14:02, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
BTW: "It's rude to revert edits without engaging in discussion or addressing issues." Pick your own nose my boy! Who deleted the section without any discussion anywhere in the first place? --TBKMrt (talk) 14:07, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
Do you mean this sentence on Talk:Tag:military=obstacle_course: "That's why I reverted your edit and care about the description later." The edit which you reverted was performed on 26 July 2019 - almost 2 months ago. And then we talked about it on Talk:Tag:military=obstacle_course the next day. Since that time you haven't responded to any of the issues with the page. --Jeisenbe (talk) 14:13, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
For some of us there is life beside OSM that has to be taken care for first. After this part of life is dealt with, there is time for hobbies (like OSM). --TBKMrt (talk) 14:20, 21 September 2019 (UTC)

As always I'm out of time so this is the end of the line (for now). Regular obstacle course has to wait. Constructive feedback is welcome. --TBKMrt (talk) 15:15, 21 September 2019 (UTC)

Please stop insults

"Not enough of that, Mateusz Konieczny seems to be the Trump of OSM" - I request you to stop insults. Especially when you describe "This tag is not used a lot (...) it should be taken with a grain of salt" as "degrading hatespeach".

And having "With such toxic behaviour you can go fishin' somewhere else buddy!" in the same message where you describe me as "Trump of OSM" is quite weird.

And to clarify: I am considering "Trump of OSM" to be insulting and posting that as toxic behavior, not as a complement.
