Some of the Work done so far

Coastline

• Coastline around the main island of Timor.

Roads

Some initial work has been done mainly around Dili which is the only place on the island where there is 1 meter per pixel Yahoo satellite imagery.

• Dili Region

Place Names

Names have been added from the Geonames database where a settlement can be detected and when a road can be connected up to the settlement. Further work on this will depend on people on the ground who can verify that the name is correct. Larger towns in both East and West Timor have however been added.
