I obtained tracks for the Ashford to Tenderden section in the summer, so the only section without tracks is from Tenderden to Royal Tunbridge Wells. I plan to cycle the route in the next few months to get the tracks. --Gregoryw 12:16, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Cycled the whole route over Easter. The only portions that I wasn't able to cover were:

• Ynysddu to Cwmfelinfach. Path closed due to a landslide. Mapped the signed diversion and marked route relation members with role diversion.
• Around Newport University area of construction. Path closed here. I've mapped the logical diversion and marked as such in the route relation, though this isn't a signed diversion on the ground.

Staffordshire: Route not yet open Lichfield-Stafford. Mapped from central Stafford through Stone to Trentham. Much is mapped in Stoke (braided route) but needs attention - not all sections joined up.

Cheshire: Mostly complete; Frodsham/Helsby needs some attention.

North Wales: Anglesey to Bangor done, otherwise mostly unmapped.

Relation is incomplete - sections tagged ncn_ref could usefully be added to it.

Further on, complete Bedford-Sandy, Huntingdon-Newmarket, Bury-Felixstowe.

Assuming it finishes at the same place as the Trans Pennine Trail, then I have been able to map it in where it ends on Hornsea sea-front at a funky artwork pole at the end of Sands Lane and where it enters Sands Lane from the route of the old Hull & Hornsea railway line. I was able to trace it back using Bing imagery, (i.e. *not* ground-truthed), to the Rolston Road B1241 roundabout. However, that overlaps slightly with existing mapping along Trinity Road ... needs checking which is right. MikeCollinson 17:02, 19 September 2011 (BST)

Cycled Bowness to Newcastle this weekend and added a GPS trace. Have added relations to all sections from Bowness to Wylam, but have not added the (optional?) ncn tags. Followed signposting all the way which is complete from Bowness to Tynemouth, with only two or three ambiguous markings. The Carlisle passage is complete. Note that the trail is slightly different from the Bikely track that seems to be the one referenced most at the moment. Just the bit from West to Bowness seems to be missing and my GPS track matches the rest (aside from a bed for the night) IanMSpencer 18:36, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
