Mapping Party
Mapping parties are a great way to meet other OSM-ers, to exchange ideas about what and how to map things in your area and to learn from each other the things that make mapping fun for you.
We run mapping parties which are events where anyone can come along, we lend a GPS and show you how to go out and do some mapping and get the data entered into openstreetmap. They are informal events with no explicit time commitment and often a social element / beer afterward.
