Importing data from National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency

Hi, im really new here, so i'dont know if this is the place to ask for this. Ive been editing the streets of Montevideo (the capital city of Uruguay), via direct editing looking the aereal images of yahoo. One problem i saw in the map of Uruguay, its that it lacks the administratives division of the country (called Department). The cuestion is: looking for a place to extract them i found the site of the "National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency": https://www1.nga.mil/Pages/Default.aspx In the Copyright Notice found here: https://www1.nga.mil/About/WhatWeDo/LawsPoliciesGuidelines/Pages/default.aspx#copy it says that the data there is in public domain. So i ask you people if the administratives divisions of Uruguay of here: http://geonames.nga.mil/ggmaviewer/MainFrameSet.asp can be imported directly to osm. - It would be great to get some administrative boundaries too but unfortunately GeoNames is not accepted as a source of data for OpenStreetMap. See Geonames for details.

Dice en la página Wiki "Sitios que se pueden consultar para corroborar nombres de calles, localidades, rutas, etc". Están seguros que estos sitios son de dominio público? Caso que no - que es lo más probable - está prohibido consultarlos para OSM! Saludos --Geogast 10:07, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
Añadir plantilla de lugar y eliminación del prefijo «Wikiproyecto»
Hola. Os consulto un par de cambios para las páginas de Uruguay en el wiki, por si os interesan. En primer lugar, no tenéis puesta todavía la plantilla de lugar. Si os parece bien, la podría poner. El resultado sería algo parecido a lo que se puede ver en la página de Perú, respetando los contenidos propios que ya existen en la página «Wikiproyecto Uruguay»
El segundo cambio se refiere precisamente al prefijo «Wikiproyecto». Este prefijo se viene arrastrando en el wiki desde sus inicios, pero está desaconsejado. Se mantiene porque es un engorro a estas alturas tener que renombrar todas las páginas del wiki que lo usan. En lugar de «ES:Wikiproyecto Uruguay», se aconseja usar la página de lugar, es decir, «ES:Uruguay», para las página del proyecto de mapeo del país.
