La compañía Altos Hornos del Mediterráneo S.A. (AHM), creada a partir de Altos Hornos de Vizcaya S.A., se inauguró en 1971 para suministrar a la industria metalúrgica en Sagunto. El alto horno, el único que se ha conservado, de los 3 que estaban en servicio, tiene una altura de 64 m y fue construido inicialmente en 1922 y remodelado en los años 70. Sólo se operó durante 13 años tras su restauración. Hoy está abierto a visitas del público.
English: Former blast furnace #2 belonging to the disappeared Altos Hornos del Mediterráneo S.A. (Mediterranean Blast Furnaces), located in Port of Sagunto, Valencian Community, Spain. The company Altos Hornos del Mediterráneo S.A (AHM), based on the Altos Hornos de Vizcaya S.A., was created in 1971 to serve the ferrous metallurgy in Sagunto. This blast furnace, the only one remaining of the 3 that were operating, is 64 m high and was first built in 1922 and remodeled in the 1970s. It operated only 13 years long and after its restoration, today is open to public visits.

La compagnie Altos Hornos del Mediterráneo S.A. (AHM), créée à partir des Altos Hornos de Vizcaya S.A., fut inaugurée en 1971 pour approvisionner en acier l’industrie métallurgique de Sagonte. Dans ce haut fourneau, le seul à avoir été préservé sur les trois qui étaient autrefois en service, haut de 64 m, fut construit en 1922, puis remanié dans les années 1970, pour ensuite ne plus fonctionner que pendant 13 ans. Il est à l’heure actuelle ouvert au public.
Português: Antigo alto-forno número 2 da extinta siderúrgica espanhola Altos Hornos del Mediterráneo S.A. situado no porto de Sagunto, Comunidade Valenciana. O alto-forno, o único restante dos três que estavam em operação, tem uma altura de 64 metros. Foi originalmente construído em 1922 e reformado na década de 70. Operou por mais treze anos após sua restauração, e hoje está aberto à visitação pública.
