Català: Escut de la Diputació d'Alacant: «Escut truncat. Al primer quarter, d'or, quatre pals de gules, que representa les armes de la Corona d'Aragó i, per tant, de l'antic Regne de València. El segon quarter, de gules amb un castell d'or maçonat de sable, amb tres torres i amb dues finestres i una porta de gules. El castell es troba a sobre d'una penya del seu color, la qual sobresurt d'un mar d'ones d'atzur i d'argent. Al timbre, corona reial oberta, que és la utilitzada en temps antics als escuts dels regnes pertanyents a la Corona d'Aragó.» Aprovat per Resolució de 16 d'octubre de 1998, DOCV núm. 3.396 de 18/12/1998. Els colors són els que hi apareixen a l'annex IV del Decret 72/2015, de 15 de maig.

Español: Escudo de la Diputación Provincial de Alicante: «Escudo partido [en realidad cortado]. En el primer cuartel, de oro, cuatro palos de gules, que representa las armas de la Corona de Aragón y, por tanto, del antiguo Reino de Valencia. El segundo cuartel, de gules con un castillo de oro mazonado de sable, con tres torres y con dos ventanas y una puerta de gules. El castillo se encuentra sobre una peña de su color, que sobresale de un mar de olas de azur y de plata. Por timbre, corona real abierta, que es la utilizada en tiempos antiguos en los escudos de los reinos pertenecientes a la Corona de Aragón.» Aprobado por Resolución de 16 de octubre de 1998, DOCV núm. 3.396 de 18/12/1998.
