Summary

illustrates post-and-chain barrier separating a park area from an adjacent road. Posts typically are 1 meter or so in height, spacing and the amount of slack in the chain between posts vary from installation to installation. Chains pass through hole drilled through the post, and may be anchored by driving a nail through the post to intersect the hole and chain.

I took the photo in May, 2010, on the University of South Florida Tampa campus
