Summary

Turning vehicles yield to pedestrians, MUTCD R10-15 From Notice of Proposed Amendments to Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways, January 2, 2008. This is proposed for inclusion in the next MUTCD anticipated in 2010. Note that there is another sign designated R10-15 in the year 2003 MUTCD. It states "TURNING TRAFFIC MUST YIELD TO PEDESTRIANS" on a black-on-white sign. The proposed MUTCD changes delete this sign.
