Summary

Ceramic tiles made into coasters to celebrate the tenth OpenStreetMap birthday. Toronto mappers rendered OpenStreetMap data for the neighbourhoods surrounding various subway stations. The resulting maps were printed on paper, then decoupaged onto the ceramic tiles.

  • Deutsch : Torten sind lecker. Und Kartenkacheln lieben wir. Die Mapper aus Toronto haben Keramik-Kacheln mit OSM-Motiv gemacht. Diese dienten als Untersetzer beim 10-Jahres-Jubiläum in Toronto und die Teilnehmer durften ihre Kachel mit nach Hause nehmen.
  • English : Cake is good. And so are map tiles. Toronto mappers made coasters from maps and ceramic tiles. The coasters safely supported the beverages consumed at the Toronto 10th OSM Birthday celebration, and then attendees were each able to take home the commemorative coasters in addition to the ones that they made.
  • italiano : Le torte sono buone. E anche le mattonelle. I mappatori di Toronto hanno creato dei sottobicchieri con mappe e mattonelle di ceramica. I sottobicchieri hanno saldamente supportato le bevande consumate alla festa del decimo compleanno di OSM a Toronto e i partecipanti hanno anche potuto portarsi a casa i sottobicchieri commemorativi oltre a quelli che avevano fatto essi stessi.
  • русский : Торты — дело хорошее, а карты — тем более. Ребята из Торонто совместили кармическую плитку с осмовскими тайлами и сделали подстаканники, которые тут же и пригодились во время празднования десятого дня рождения ОСМ. На эти миниатюрные арт-объекты ставили напитки, а в конце мероприятия участники разобрали их по домам на память о мероприятии.
  • 中文（繁體） : 有蛋糕可享用很好，如果有地圖圖磚也不錯。多倫多的圖客利用地圖和陶磁製作杯墊，剛好用在多倫多OSM十週年慶祝活動，安全無無虞的承受消耗的酒量，參與者也能將具有紀念價值的杯墊帶回去，而且還是自己做得噢。
