Deutsch: Zeichen 250: Verkehrsverbot für Fahrzeuge aller Art, StVO 1970. Form nach der StVO vom 29. März 1956 und so in Westdeutschland bis 1971 produziert. Quelle: Bundesgesetzblatt, Jahrgang 1953, Nr. 56, S. 355. Tag der Ausgabe: Bonn, 30. April 1956; Bundesgesetzblatt, Jahrgang 1970, Nr. 108, S. 1588. Tag der Ausgabe: Bonn, 5. Dezember 1970. Laut Verkehrsblatt 14/1972 sollten Schilder dieser Art eine Gesamtbreite von 600 mm besitzen. Die Lichtkantenbreite lag bei 10 mm. Der innere weiße Bereich war 420 mm breit und die rote Umrandung 80 mm stark. Bei Bedarf konnte die Gesamtbreite der roten Umrandung auch nur 572 mm betragen.
