Trademark dead?

Is the old logo https://trademarks.ipo.gov.uk/ipo-tmcase/page/Results/1/UK00002500155 no longer restricted as a trademark? https://trademarks.ipo.gov.uk/ipo-tmcase/page/History/1/UK00002500155 --Chris2map (talk) 15:36, 11 June 2022 (UTC)

In the source code of the SVG file there is following meta data:

sodipodi:docbase="/home/matt/projects/opencheesemap/openstreetmap/java/html-images"
sodipodi:docname="OpenStreetMap-Logo_inkscape.svg"
inkscape:export-filename="/home/matt/projects/opencheesemap/icon/mag_map.png"

With those hints I found this: User talk:Matt#Opencheesemap_icon_license?

Could Matt be the creator and author of the original logo? Is anyone in touch with Matt?

The first file uploaded to this Wiki was File:Wiki.png. So ask Steve ;-). maro21 20:14, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
OSMF claims to hold the trademark rights of all OSM things (logos, names, etc.). I assume you have already asked there? https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Trademark_Policy --TobWen (talk) 00:48, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
That's good advice from you both! We / I haven't actually asked there yet. --Chris2map (talk) 15:56, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
It was indeed Matt Amos. – Minh Nguyễn 💬 23:03, 22 September 2022 (UTC)
