Notice Marks used in Brazilian Inland Waterways
The tags defined on this page will render in various nautical charts.
Tagging Notice Marks in OSM
Notice marks can exist alone or be added to beacons. Where a notice mark is used alone, it should carry the tag "seamark:type=notice" plus one of the attribute tags listed below.
seamark:type=notice + seamark:notice:function=* ( prohibition | regulation | restriction | recommendation | information ) + seamark:notice:category=* ( See tables below ) + seamark:notice:system=bniwr [+ seamark:notice:bank=*] (left | right ) Must be present for 2-sides symbols - if absent, side-independent symbols are rendered.
The tables below detail the values to be used for "seamark:notice:category" tags.
Prohibitory Signs
These signs should also carry the tag: "seamark:notice:function=prohibition"
