Proposal:Switching Station

An electrical switching station is a facility, which at least 2 powerlines enter. In opposite to a substation no change of voltage levels is done.

Examples

  • Distribution stations without transformers
  • Fenced-in terminal towers at which an overhead power-line ends and an underground cable starts
  • PLC-Repeater Stations
