A  coworking space is a place where people can work, typically they are arranged as offices.

They almost always charge a fee and provide services such as desk space and Internet connectivity. Often, they are open to people regardless of their employer.

How to map

Add a node to the centre of the coworking space and tag it with office=coworking. Alternatively, you can map an area. You can name it with name=*.

Additional tags

  • operator=* for the operator's name
  • opening_hours=* for the opening hours
  • fee=no if it not paid, fee=yes can be also explicitly tagged but it is true for vast majority

Alternative tagging

While for coworking spaces that are offices, the usage of office=coworking is suitable, there is an alternative tag that also comprises cases where the space offers different facilities, e.g. a workshop for crafts or technological development:
