JOSM rephrase

Need to rephrase this page. JOSM is a perfectly sensible option for grabbing a small area of map data.

Also need to expand on some newer options e.g. Osmxapi and scripts/Osmosis code for extracting a bbox from planet.osm

Cloudmade and Geofabrik download?

Should a section not be included for getting data from these companies? PeterIto 08:38, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

Merging with More than a Mouthful

I proposed to merge More than a Mouthful with this page. --Cantho (talk) 03:57, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

+1, but it may also be an option to just delete the page "More than a mouthful". It has not been edited since years, nothing links there, and much of the information there is outdated. --Roland

Add https://export.hotosm.org/?

IMO we should add https://export.hotosm.org/de/v3/ to this list which allows to download filtered data. --Tordans (talk) 15:40, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
