There is no need for this. Every Pillar should be a simple node. Or where does this proposal add any advantage?--Extremecarver 16:13, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
take a look at http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Proposed_features/Piste_Maps#aerialway there are some features already suitable propossed.
