Better term: haunted_house

Wouldn't a more objective term like tourism=haunted_house be a better description? Especially if you don't want to imply anything about the existence of ghosts? --Nop 15:07, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

After some time there would be quite a lot of haunted_* things. Tales from my region tell from haunted springs, places in woods, mines, meadows, bridges and so on. Too specific tags don't help. If you stick the haunted-tag to a house, one will see its a haunted house. If tourism are (supposed to be) attracted, its a tourism=attraction. :) --Malenki 21:58, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
+1 tourism=haunted. You will be able to make a special alloween map underlining whaterver-you want-haunted ! ;-) Not very serious ! FrViPofm 17:54, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but I can't see any use in this proposal. --LordOfMaps (talk) 19:21, 15 January 2014 (UTC)

Having found this again after a long period away, It's my view that as a haunted site is not necessarily objectively verifiable by survey. (source=local_in_pub ;source=my mate barry etc..) I'm not convincd this should be a serious proposal, any more. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 14:00, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
