Talk:Proposed features/waiting area

Hmmmm. From the photo it looks like a room to me. A big room, but a room. I'd be happy to call this a waiting room, but the fact that others aren't indicates that we do actually need this as distinct from waiting room..

However, it would be good to make clear if this applies only to enclosed waiting areas. How about an outdoor waiting area completely exposed to the elements? Or a roof to provide protection from sun and rain but no walls?

OK, you might call this a room (I would call it a foyer or hall), but the difference is that a waiting room is only for waiting, this waiting area has other services, counters etc., and if you remove them from the waiting area object it is not a room any more, just a part of a "room". --Dieterdreist (talk) 12:27, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
