Who should be contacted to avoid DDoS risk (loop between Sysadmins and OWG)

I want to use OSM API in way that may be either utterly harmless or risking DDoS. For obvious reasons I want to consult with someone who has a proper understanding of the situation.

Unfortunately https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/System_administrators has "for technical and operational issues involving OpenStreetMap's servers or systems, and in case of abuse of those systems, please contact the Operations Working Group."

https://operations.osmfoundation.org/ has "It does not concern itself with: (...) Day-to-day running of the servers. This is the remit of the Sysadmins group "

Not sure if you are pulling jokes on us, but why don't you use the email address provided? They will forward you to the correct person, I am sure. I would email this question to the address provided, because I do not think they are watching this page. --Tigerfell This user is member of the wiki team of OSM (Let's talk) 10:14, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
I would prefer to contact correct group of this two groups of busy people. I also want to fix documentation to reduce confusion. I also contacted one of sysadmins, without reply so far. Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 02:44, 4 June 2019 (UTC)
The advice given is correct, so please follow it. TomH (talk) 14:14, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
