This just says 'public' showers. Presumably this is also the correct tag for the shower block on a campsite for example. I suppose that would be a access=designated shower. Not "public" but sort of open for lots of customers to use. No doubt people will also use this tag for showers as part of outdoor leisure facilities or even indoor leisure centres (when mapping such indoor details, which personally I've tended not to do much of) Obviously we don't want people to use this tag for mapping their own private shower in their house :-) -- Harry Wood 17:57, 14 September 2012 (BST)

Shower and toilet?

How to tag beach showers that have toilets?--Diego ma (talk) 13:19, 3 March 2013 (UTC)

I've tagged this as amenity=toilet + shower=yes because mostly they feel like toilet blocks with showers inside too. I'm not sure if this is best. Or you could do amenity=shower + toilet=yes. Or you could use two nodes amenity=toilet on one and amenity=shower on another both within the building. --Aharvey (talk) 11:20, 21 January 2017 (UTC)

Shower for feet only

At least in Spain, in some beaches there are some "showers" that are only to wash the sand from the feet. How would be tag that? Would it be amenity=shower + shower=feet the correct tagging? -- edvac 13:10, 22 July 2014 (UTC+2)

Would this just be a Tag:man_made=water_tap? These are common in Australia near beaches but they are indistinguishable from a water_tap. --Aharvey (talk) 10:52, 21 January 2017 (UTC)

Emergency Shows?

Should there be tags for emergency shows. ie: emergency=shower for chemical or fire related incidents. [1] or should it be amenity=show and a subtag of chemical=yes.User:Brian@Brea 23:42, 1 October 2014 (-8 UTC)
