ref mandatory?

i think the ref(erence number) should be mandatory - ok to move it from "additional tags" to the example above? --Florianschmitt 10:03, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

  • I aggree with you I just wasn't sure if that would be all right to put in the basic tagging box (since officially it's called highway = emergency_access_point) but if that is ok I would also prefer to put in the upper box. --wer-ist-roger 14:06, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

additional tag: district

Signs around here do also have information for the area that is covered by the operator. Should we add it to the additional tags?

thumbnail|red: literally "emergency point"
black: reference ID
green: name "Waldparkplatz"
black, small: district "Revier Nauendorf", operator "Forstamt Bad Berka"

Note: I edited above to drop display of Image:Emergency access point ap 2594.jpg due to unclear licensing status and to enable file deletion. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Rescue_points_in_Germany has many potential replacements Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 14:20, 15 November 2022 (UTC)

Examples to main page?

There are a few more examples of signs on this discussion page. Shall we add them to the new Examples table that Bobwz added? --IByte (talk) 10:24, 13 August 2019 (UTC)

Done. --IByte (talk) 17:25, 10 November 2019 (UTC)

`emergency_telephone_code`

Shouldn't we map the emergency telephone number with `emergency:phone=$NUMBER` instead of `emergency_telephone_code`?

--Habi (talk) 09:44, 14 March 2022 (UTC)

Yes, reason is emergency_telephone_code=* being older than emergency:phone=*. https://taghistory.raifer.tech/#***/emergency_telephone_code/&***/emergency:phone/ --- Kovposch (talk) 10:14, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
