What tags should be used if utilities are known?

The article suggest this tag should only be used if the utilities that are carried on the pole are unknown or not specified. However, it does not recommend the tags that should be used if the utilities are known, other than a power pole or a street lamp. What about a telephone pole, or a telegraph pole or a pole carrying multiple different utilities, such as power, telephone, and cable TV as well as street lighting and security camera monitoring? To be really helpful the article should provide suggestions for the various utilities. Also, what about poles used for other purposes where a pole's utility cannot be determined. I notice that man_made=pole is also used, though even more rarely. - Huttite (talk) 22:36, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

Have a look to more recently adopted utility=*. Note that power, telecom, street lighting are actual utilities but surveillance isn't part of it actually. Then man_made=utility_pole should only be combined with utility=* when a relevent value applies Fanfouer (talk) 17:01, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
