Add skating obstacles/modules?

I don't have created a proposal page because we need to discus about it before.

Can we add obstacles/modules for skatepark that can be used by skateboard, bmx, scooter for a more detailled skatepark. We need a new tag like leisure=skatepark? or can we use leisure=pitch and add sport=skateboard;bmx;scooter?

For the tag for obstales/modules in the skatepark we can use skatepark:obstacles=* in a node to indicate the obstacle type. For obstacles type we can use http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skatepark#Common_obstacles We can add material=* tag to indicate if the obstacle use wood, iron, concrete.

leisure=skatepark

I don't believe we should discourage leisure=skatepark for skateparks. There are other things and objects that would merit a sport=skateboard tag without being "skateparks", like stairs, ramps, obstacles in general. Leisure=pitch might not be the best combination for a skatepark, neither the generic sports centre (there are certainly a facilities which merit the sports centre tag, but others don't). What's wrong with leisure=skatepark? Generally, leisure is used for the physical object and sport is used for the kind of sports. We don't tag running tracks or swimming pools as pitches, why would we do for skateparks? --Dieterdreist (talk) 11:33, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
