How to import data

This page (or section) needs to be translated from Pt-br:IBGE Import#Como importar os dados to English.
Your fluency in English and Pt-br:IBGE Import#Como importar os dados can be used to translate this article.
Note: Do not use this template for articles under a foreign language name space and/or for articles that are written in the original language (unless an English translation exists).

These files should be imported by hand, to avoid duplicating data with roads already existing in OSM. A good explanation in english of how to manually merge data can be found in Manual conflation.

  • Before working on a file, please set the "Status" field in the table below to "In work (User:YourUser)".
  • Be wary of data from old IBGE imports that are imprecise: it is hard to match such roads from OSM to the same road in the new data.
  • After migrating and saving, please set the "Status" field in the table below to "Done (User:YourUser)".
