Not really vandalism

You may not agree with this submission of data, but I don't think it's intended to deliberately damage or disrupt OSM. So I definitely wouldn't call it "vandalism". It looks like a well-intentioned effort to provide additional data, a clumsy workaround for the lack of named waypoints. So I wouldn't call it "graffiti" either, that would imply drawing one's own name or a rude word or something.

Should this image really be on the vandalism page as it doesn't appear to be vandalism to me? Eric2 14:12, 19 April 2012 (BST)

Yes, calling this vandalism is mostly a joke. I think such writing was automatically added by the GPS receiver when recording waypoints. --Eric S 22:38, 17 September 2012 (BST)
