SR 4

In the Cincinnati/Hamilton area, I'm not sure that Route 4 deserves to be a primary road. With the Michael Fox Highway Veteran's Highway #29,842 nearby connecting to I-75, as well as Bypass 4 going directly from Fairfield to Middletown, Route 4 would seem to me like a somewhat poor connector these days. I do agree with promoting the segment from Springfield on north, however. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 07:05, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

I've removed the SR 73 Middletown–Franklin segment from my suggested routes for promotion, but SR 4 Hamilton–Middletown is still on there, as Hamilton and Middletown are both fair-sized cities. How to get the primary part of SR 4 to connect to the trunk part of SR 122 in Middletown seems like a puzzle, though. On the other hand, so much of Middletown seems located on the east side of its center, maybe the bulk of Middletown residents would take I-75 and SR 129 to get to Hamilton anyway. But from city center to city center, SR 4 still looks like the logical route to me. Vid the Kid 02:34, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
