The 3D Development 'staff' currently works on unifying the 3D related tags. Please join the discussion or the 2nd 3D Workshop Garching.

Open3DMap (O3DM) is a 3D model repository that links the 3D models of the public infrastructure against the OpenStreetMap Object IDs. It was originaly planed as GSOC project in 2011 but unfortunatly not accepted.

    • 1:1 link one model against one OSM object (way, node)
    • 1:n link one model against multiple OSM objects (ids, tag filter)
  • adaptive models
    • fill area (e.g. allotments include multiple small houses)
    • transform (e.g. one single houseblock type, that can be adapted by colours)
