Located in Ascarate Park, El Paso Tx.
A temporary circuit used in 1159 and 1960.

Central Texas Speedway
Located south of Kyle, Texas.
An asphalt oval operated from 1998 through 2016. Originally Thunder Hill Speedway.

Originally mapped in OSM by user Longhorn256. Moved to OHM after verification that the facility had been razed. Permission was obtained from Longhorn256 to enter his work into OHM using a CC0 license. Dates of operation from America's Speedways[1], newspaper article.
Houston Raceway Park
Located near Baytown, TX.
The 3/8th mile dirt oval operated from 2000 until (apparently) Hurricane Harvey. The dragstrip on the site is still operating and is in OSM.

Houston Speedway
Located on the northeast side of Houston, TX.
Houston Speedway was a 1/4 mile dirt oval that operated from 1979 to 1995. It was replaced by a 1/2 mile paved oval and supplemented by a 1/8 mile dragstrip that still operate under the name Houston Motorsports Park. The modern tracks are in OSM; the original oval is in OHM.

Lubbock Speedbowl (aka Family Park Speedway)
Located south of Idalou TX, east of Lubbock TX.
Operated from 1972 to 1979, and for one year in 1982. Adjacent to Lubbock Dragway which is still operational and in OSM.

Texas Thunder Raceway
Located west of Midland, Texas.
Opened in 2005; closed after 2014 due to difficulty finding staff.

Texas World Speedway
Located near College Station, Texas.
Texas World Speedway opened in 1969 with a super speedway style oval and a variety of road course configurations. The oval ceased operation in 1996 but the road courses continued in sporadic use through 2014. The facility was purchased by developers and is due to be demolished in 2015.
