Description

There seem to be no quality description of a road. Think of a highway, tertiary or unclassified, where the legal maximal speed limit is 90 Km/h, and the road quality is so bad that it is not possible to go faster than 50 Km/h unless the vehicle is specially built for bad roads (SUV, etc.).

There should be a quality property as well, but the scale would be even more subjective; what to call "bad" or "damaged" or "prohibitive"... The proposal is based on several roads I just had the unfortune to drive on, which were probably made in the 60s, and nobody fixed anything since then. I would love to propose one, but I wonder how scale homogenity between editors and countries could be achieved. This proosed one is an alternative approach to quality. --Grin 10:42, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
