Usage

Description

This proposal deals with shops that sell things according to a discounter model. This kind of shop sells things with a focus on price rather than service, display or wide choice within lines. Sometimes they will sell common brands also available elsewhere, but more often they have their own brands. As a consequence, discounters provide a relatively small selection and simple presentation, sometimes selling products directly off pallets. They will also typically not provide any counters in the shop (bread, fish, meat, sausage, cheese, etc.) but have everything packaged (maybe with the exception of fruit and greengrocer products).

Proposed Tagging:

Add discounter=* to any shop where it applies.
