Proposal talk:Avenue - Trees beside street

...still I suggest an additional tag avenue:yes or similar, since there are a lot of roads with trees on both sides which aren't avenues at all because the distance between the trees is 20 50 metres and more.

This one Proposed_features/tree_row looks more flexible to me. If it is a limited number of trees, then you could add the exact number with this one. Also you wouldn't be limited to the left or right side of a road. --Ckruetze 12:19, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Not sufficiant

For blind persons it is not only important to know that there is a "lane" with trees, but also the width and if you can cross it (bushes or grass between trees). --Lulu-Ann 06:59, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

re-thought

I guess this "proposal" will be closed sooner or later. Discussion is going on at Proposed_features/tree_row as mentioned above, also have a look at Tree. -- Malenki 19:34, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Was looking for this tag...

I was looking for this tag,. I think it would be really useful in urban areas were trees are on the street side(s). -- User:Cquest 16 May 2010 (UTC)

avenue=yes

I propose to use the simple avenue=yes to express that it is an avenue (street with trees along the sides) --Dieterdreist 17:30, 17 October 2012 (BST)
