Proposal talk:Driving pleasure

Not useful or meaningful

This is totally subjective. Not everyone thinks a road full of hairpin bends is fun. Lets stick to factual information, shall we? Our intention is not to be a guidebook. People can make their own judgments, based on the factual features placed on the map. The photos say it all. 1) You could easily see that this road is full of hairpin bends from the map and decide for yourself whether this is pleasurable or downright scary; 2) again, straight roads are rendered quite clearly already; 3) Tag the road surface, woods and mountains (and nature reserve?) and people can decide if it's for them; 4) this highlights another issue with the proposal - traffic seriously affects enjoyment, but is extremely variable depending on many factors.

5) As says the Wikipedia article, driving pleasure depends on the car...
Make a website where people can vote (with 0 to 5 stars) on their pleasure, but don't enter this subjective feeling into OSM. FrViPofm 12:25, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
I fully agree with Davespod and FrViPofm. --Kslotte 22:51, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
