R10x is the number used for road segments that were part of the corresponding national road numbered Nx, where the national road has been moved to a new routing (usually when a freeway bypass has been built). Hence the roads numbered as R10x are not single continuous roads, but rather collections of small segments of road all along the route of the corresponding national road.
